A self-proclaimed cooking enthusiast comes to the alarming realisation that she doesn’t know how to make any food from her home country as a first generation Hong Kong Australian migrant. Her father is dubious but is nonetheless recruited on a mission to teach her some specially chosen dishes from both of their childhoods. But what he reveals is more than just the cooking method behind these meals. This is a memoir-style audio documentary that explores the intersection between food, family and migration.
