The hidden melody of culture

Wonder why the podcast title is The Hidden Melody? This piece explores one of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity – Nha Nhac, is a representation of Vietnamese culture, people and country. Unlike the iconic Vietnamese street food culture, this traditional court music is not yet well-known internationally, and is on the brink of fading away.

This audio storytelling video discusses the history, different musical instruments played, childhood memory and challenges of preserving such elegant music.
