From his resume 21-year-old Linus Jamal Faustin looks like a successful student at Sydney’s University of Technology.

He’s heavily involved in university life as Volunteer of the Year and Vice President of Activate UTS, but Linus has already had to overcome great adversity.

At the age of three, both his parents and sister died … by the time he was seven he had fled an abusive uncle and wound up homeless in Dar es Salaam.
